I love the picture of the Native American girl spending time with her father. This photo is special because it reminds me of spending time and having fun  with my father along time ago.

This map represents how populated Native Americans were until the Europeans came and took over. Now we barley see them. They’re culture is almost completely lost. This picture really makes me feel bad when I think of how they weren’t bothering anyone, and how just because they had a different culture they were forced to leave their lands.  The Europeans tried to force them to be what they called civilized. Well is being civilized killing people because their different? This caused a warfare that the Native Americans apparently lost. I wonder how they look on a map now I doubt it will ever ne as a populated as it was before.

My favorite picture is the one with the Native American crouching on the rock with the horse below him. To me this symbolizes the constant unknowing of what’s going to happen next because we are not able to see what he is feeling or sees. He is still holding his spear so we can probably tell there is going to be a war , he’s out hunting or he was ostracized by his former tribe or he’s just simply standing guard.-- Josh Brown

We will be known forever by the tracks we leave. - Dakota

In the Native American culture elders are very much praised. Elders are the shamons of the tribe, the go-to person for wisdom and understanding. Like many cultures the elders are people who can tell you about your past and how you came about. This picture means a lot to me; people in today’s world are just passing up the wisdom these gentle spirits have to offer. The Natives Americans understand that elders are sacred and dear to the heart.
